The Ortlieb Travel-Zip is a waterproof sport and travel duffle bag that we use because of the unique closure design. Unlike the good old reliable roll-top closure of the Ortlieb Rack-Pack series, the Travel-Zip uses a heavy-duty waterproof zipper closure. The zipper makes access into the bag a proverbial piece o'cake. Sure, convenience costs a bit more, but it’s worth it.
The design of the welded polyester fabric and zipper system ensures complete protection from water and dust. Once the zipper’s closed you can dunk the bag in the river or ride in the rain and the contents stay perfectly dry.
Two outer mesh pockets (not waterproof) allow quick access to small items like gloves or tools. And of course there’s the adjustable carry handles and removable padded shoulder strap.
Secure the bag to your bike with a set of ROK Straps.
The Travel-Zip is made from double coated polyester fabric called TPU It’s totally waterproof and abrasion resistant.

Prior to its first use (and depending on the frequency of use from time to time), the zipper needs lubrication with the supplied lubricant in order to make sure it moves smoothly and works easily under extreme conditions. Instructions are enclosed.
