Trail Tech EQUINOX LED Lights
Trail Tech LED lights are built off-road tough. Hardened glass lenses, vibration isolation and machined aluminum bodies make them pretty much bulletproof.
If you're wondering whether you should get Trail Tech LED or HID lights, here's a comparison of beam patters and light intensities. HID on left, LED on right. As you can see from the chart, the HID light travels further (almost 400') and has more intensity then the LED lights.

LED technology gives you 800 lumens of light in a tight, well-designed pattern. This focused pattern gives you great visibility in night time conditions and provides maximum conspicuity for daytime riding.
A button on the back swaps between high, medium and low output - allowing you to conserve battery life or perform an all-out assault on the powers of darkness.
You have a choice of flat surface and/or handlebar mounts (3/4"-1" bars), as well as a solid post for bolt-on applications.

TT Equinox LED lights are available in two styles:
Post mount - A threaded stud fits thru a 3/8" (10mm) hole in your light bar or other mouning point. The wires pass thru the stud.
Flat mount - Adhesive base attaches to any flat surface. Flat mount lights also come with a handlebar mount (3/4" - 1") that fits most frame tubes and handlebars.
When you've selected a power mode then turn off the power switch, the lights resume the same power mode when you turn the lights back on. In other words, you don't have to cycle thru the power modes every time you turn on the lights.
Sorry, but the clear or amber silicone covers that fit the Trail Tech HID lights won't fit these LED lights.
We especially like the ability to be able to use these LED lights when setting up camp in the dark. When set on the lowest power setting the light draws only 3 watts. You can run them for hours before you'll affect your bike's battery. That means you'll have time to read the tent assembly instructions and figure our which tent pole goes into which slot.
