Ordinary lens cleaning kits require that you carry two items: 1.) a container of cleaning solution, and 2.) some type of reusable cloth. Cycle Wipes combines both items into one convenient pouch. Because Cycle Wipes are disposable one-time wipes, you're not reusing the same dirty rag every time you clean your visor or windscreen. Dirty rags cause scratches. Scratches suck.

In addition to the brilliant colored goo that bugs leave on your windscreen or face shield, they also leave a hard shell called a carapace which can be harder than the plastic lens itself. That's why plastic gets scratched as you carelessly remove their mortal remains. To prevent scratches always use a well moistened cloth. Never scrub or scour - you'll only damage the plastic. Don't drag the carapace across the plastic or you'll leave visible gouges. The cloth should be "porous" enough that the gooey bits and hard carapace are captured by the cloth mesh and lifted away from the plastic surface. Cycle Wipes contain a fabric and a cleaning solution that were tested and proven to be the perfect choice when it comes to effective bug removal.
