Cen_2_240.jpgCentech AP-2 Fuse Panel

This stainless steel cased fuse panel is similar to the AP-1 panel shown above, but differs in one important feature - the positive side of the fuse panel is split into two separate circuits:

Circuit 1 is always "hot".   There are 2 separate individually fused sub-circuits.  These circuits would be useful for accessories such as a GPS which you want to have power regardless of whether the ignition is turned on or off.

Circuit 2 is cold" when the ignition is turned off, but "hot" when the ignition is turned on.  Thre are has 3 separate individually fused sub-circuits.  These circuits would be useful for driving lights, heated clothing, or other accessories that you want to shut down when you turn off your ignition.

To utilize the switched circuit feature, you must install a relay.  Order the AP-130R Relay kit shown below.

The AP-2 can has a total overall rating of 50 amps.  30 amps can be switched, 20 amps are constant.

Cen_Relay_240.jpgCentech AP-130R Relay Kit

The Centec AP-130R Relay Kit is designed to act as a "switch" for Circuit #2 of your Centec AP-2 fuse panel.

When you turn on the ignition the relay activates the power circuit, which in turn provides power to the 3 switched sub-circuits of the AP-2 fuse panel.

When the ignition is turned off, the relay shuts down the switched circuits and all the accessories you've wired into that portion of the fuse panel.

The photo shows what appears to be a rather large wiring loom.  It's really designed for heavy duty automotive applications, but it can be easily cut to fit so you'll be able to eliminate most of the bulk and all the extra wiring.

The relay box itself is only 1" x 1" x 2", so it will easily fit under the tank or anywhere else on the bike.  The AP-130R is rated for 30 amps.
