We've been using Proxxon tools for several years. They're surprisingly affordable and but there's certainly no compromise when it comes to quality.
When we're on the road we carry their 36-piece Engineer's set (23080) in our pannier. It contains a wide assortment of sockets, allen, and torx wrenches.
When we're working in the garage we use their 23-piece Torx socket set (23102) and the 18-piece Allen socket set (23100) for the metric fasteners on our R1200GS. Having the right tools makes the job so much easier.

Not enough space for ratcheting? No problem with this ROTARY ratchet. Just turn the handle to the right to tighten the bolt (or left to loosen). The fine ratcheting mechanism requires very little movement in order to turn the bolt.
1. With quick release button - press the button to release the socket. The button also acts as a reverse lever.
2. Fine tooth drive (52 teeth) makes for a smooth ratchet action.
3. Handy grip made from two types of cushioning rubber, it's easy on the hand.
4. Turn the handle (like you'd turn a screwdriver) and the ratchet turns the bolt.
5. If you're in tight spaces and you can't swing the handle enough to engage the next tooth of the ratchet, just twist the handle and it will turn the bolt.
