CyclePump Upgrade Details 04-17-08
As part of our customer service program, we’re offering to upgrade your “old model” CyclePump to the new ADVENTURE model specifications. We reserve the right to change the upgrade specifications or to modify or terminate this program at any time. Turn-around time for the upgrade process is normally 3-5 working days, depending on workload.
To be eligible for the CyclePump Upgrade Offer:
A. Your CyclePump must be in operating condition – if it's not additional repair charges will apply
B. The aluminum case, power cords, alligator clips, universal plug, and red storage pouch must be included
C. Any components you don’t send to us will result in a higher final cost because we'll any add missing items to your upgraded CyclePump kit
D. You agree to pay return shipping costs via UPS or US Mail; the shipping method is at our option
E. You are responsible for all customs fees, duties, or taxes as may apply
For the $25.00 base upgrade fee we’ll perform the following work:
1. Folding legs will be added to the aluminum case
2. Internal components will be inspected, cleaned, and lubricated
3. Mounting points of the motor assembly will be hardened
4. Switch and wires will be tested
5. Air chuck will be inspected and the internal O-ring replaced if required
6. Corners of case will be sealed at critical points to improve filtering
7. Protective studs will be added to the switch (if not already installed)
8. Velcro tie wraps will be added to power cord
9. Universal power plug will be inspected, hardened if required, and tested
10. Motor and compressor assembly will be tested for proper operation
Additional added costs if you DON’T send along these components :
a. 8-ft AutoCord power cord extension - add $5.00
b. Battery alligator clips - add $10.00
c. Storage pouch - add $5.00
d. Universal plug wired with 12” SAE wire - add $15.00
Note: Mark 1 Models with the old style folded-and-notched-case - add $15.00
Items NOT included in the Upgrade Offer:
1. Return shipping fees - these costs will be added to your total
2. Relocation of the on/off switch – this is not possible on the old models
3. Replacement of broken, damaged, or worn components – repairs are extra
4. Replacement of missing black converter ring on universal power plug
5. Extension of your original 1-year warrantee period

Send your old CyclePump, along with all the cords, wires, plugs, pouch, etc. to the below address.

Mark the box and all paperwork "CyclePump Upgrade". Make sure to include the following information:
1. Your name
2. Your credit card billing address
3. Your shipping address (if different than billing address)
4. Your daytime telephone number or cell number
5. E-mail address – this is very important in the event we need to contact you!
6. Credit card information, including the expiration date and 3-digit V-code.
PS. If you're having any problems with the CyclePump, i.e. bad switch, loose wires at the plug, leaking air chuck, etc, write a note describing the problem and we'll fix it. If it's a minor problem there's usually no charge, if it's something major then those repairs may add a few dollars to your total.
