Under-Inflated Tires
Here's a reminder why you should check tire pressures
every time you get on the bike.

This was a rear tire off a large displacement V-twin.  Under-inflation led to sidewall separation at highway speeds.  Nobody was hurt, but lessons were learned!

An Unexpected Passenger
Adventure Rider:  Mr. BestRest (David Petersen)
Motorcycle:  BMW R1200GS
Location:  Central Oregon
After stopping at an overlook I returned to the bike
and found an unexpected passenger waiting for me.
That's a western diamondback rattlesnake (crotalus atrox).
We exchanged strong words before I was able to get on the bike again.
