In April '08 we upgraded the mounting system on our Heavy Duty Engine SkidPlate. If you have an earlier version of our SkidPlate, you can purchase the parts needed to bring your mounting system up to the latest performance standards.
This Upgrade Kit contains all the additional screws, bushings, and other hardware found in out latest SkidPlate mounting system. You'll reuse a few parts from the earlier mounting system. It does not contain the SkidPlate itself or the bent metal bracket shown above.
Compatibility Note: Your "old" SkidPlate mounting system must already have the bent metal bracket shown in the above photo. If it doesn't please contact us for other solutions. Special thanks to Pete MacLachlan of BMW M/C of Ventura County, CA for his help with the development of this system
