Overall size is 13.75" wide at the front (21" wide at the rear) x 15.5" long. (34.9cm front, 53.3cm rear, 39.5cm long). Crafted from 1/8" aircraft quality aluminum alloy with a black non-skid powder coat finish.

The NEW Model T has cutouts to allow clearance for your pannier lids.   The NEW Model T CargoRest differs from the previous version in that we've reduced the number of slotted cutouts.  From customer feedback we learned that many of those slots were never used, so we got rid of 'em (the slots, not the customers).

Remember, the FitKit is sold separately from the CargoRest.

The NEW Model T CargoRest

When fitting the NEW Model T CargoRest onto an R12GS you'll need to drill 4 small holes in the CargoRest.  A drilling template is provided.  If you don't have a cordless drill, or if you're "all thumbs" when it comes to mechanical projects, let us know when you place your order.  We can drill the holes for you at no charge, however the CargoRest will not be eligible for return or refund.
