D-Fender (combination waterproof bag that converts to a rucksack)

The D-Fender is a cross between a waterproof duffel bag and a backpack. Strap it to the bike like any other Ortlieb bag, and when you get to your destination it instantly converts to a backpack that you can comfortably carry on a hike, or into your motel room. We carry our camera and other valuables in the D-Fender because when we get off the bike, the bag goes with us.

The D-Fender uses the same waterproof zipper as the Travel-Zip. You'll have quick access to the contents, but there'll be no worries about keeping things dry. The zipper system is so watertight you could use this bag if you're into kayaking or other water sports.

Six D-rings give you plenty of attachment points to secure it on your bike. The padded foam back has air ventilation channels for carrying comfort. The straps are fully adjustable and there's a strap to secure the pack across your chest. The zipper's on the same side as the straps which makes access quick and easy.

The D-Fender is made from double coated polyester fabric. It’s totally waterproof and abrasion resistant.
