This Quick Release Pin/Bushing kit fits the LightGuard for the F800GS and the R1200GS/GSA.
We recently changed the design of the R1200GS LightGuard plexi cover. The covers have larger holes to accomodate the new bushings and quick-release pins. This kit makes it easier to remove the lens for cleaning and replacement.
If you have an older cover that was mounted with screws and nuts, and you need to order a replacement lens... you will need this kit also. What you will be getting are all the bits and pieces highlighted in yellow in the photo above.
To enlarge the four original mounting holes, you'll need to drill them out using a 5/16ths "step" drill bit.
