For years we've been giving away our large BestRest and CyclePump oval stickers. Although they had an eye-catching white vinyl backing, they weren't retroreflective. (Click for a definition of retroreflective)
When we switched to a new retroreflective backing we got a bad case of "sticker-shock" - the printing fees went from a few cents apiece for the old style vinyl backing, to $3.00 for the new reflective material. As much as we like giving away the stickers, in this economy we can't continue the practice... but we can offer them to you at our cost.

Here's what they look like at night. You'll see that I've also put some reflective tape on the panniers; every bit helps to make the bike more visible to other motorists.
These retroreflective oval stickers are waterproof, weatherproof, and they brightly reflect any light source which greatly increases your bike's nighttime conspicuity. That's ALWAYS a good thing. Plus the stickers look really cool on the bike and tell a story about your riding style and discriminating tastes.
Size is 3-7/8 x 5-7/8" (4x6). The 6-mil backing will adhere to most smooth and clean surfaces, including aluminum panniers and BMW system cases.

Shipping cost for a single reflective sticker (to a US address) is $2.00 via First Class Mail. Multiple stickers cost slightly more. International postage is extra. Shipping is free if you're ordering other items at the same time.
When you place an online order for these stickers you'll only have an option for Priority Mail shipping @ $8.95. Don't worry about that cost, we'll override the value and correct the shipping fees when we process your order.
Installation: For best installation results, clean the surface with soap and water, then degrease with rubbing alcohol. Place the pannier in the sun so it gets warm, or take it inside and allow it to achieve room temperature. Carefully plan the placement of the sticker. Warm the sticker between your hands, peel away the backing, and apply one edge of the sticker to the surface. Press the sticker down, working slowly from one edge to the other; this technique prevents bubbles. Finally, rub the entire sticker in an oval pattern with your finger until all edges have adhered. Easy peasy.
