This Valve Stem Multi-Tool (VSMT) is for Tubed tires.  It performs 3 separate functions:

1.  It tightens or removes valve stem cores. The T-handle portion has one end that fits over the valve stem and works as a valve core wrench to loosen or tighten the core.

2.  It deflates the tire when screwed onto the valve stem. The T-handle portion has one end that will deflate the tire when screwed onto the valve stem

3.  It fishes a tubed valve stem back through the hole in the rim. Before you remove the tube, thread the end of the wand into the end of the stem (remove core first).  Then pull the tube out of the tire for repairs.  The cable lets you pull the stem back into the rim when you reinstall the tube.  When installing a new tube, slip the wand thru the hole in the rim, thread it into the valve stem, and pull the stem back thru the hole.  No more pinched fingers!!!

If you purchase a TireIron BeadBrakR, it comes with a VSMT for tubeless tires.  It won't work for your tubes because the end of the wand is too large.
