The Centec AP-130R Relay Kit is designed to act as a "switch" for Circuit #2 of your Centec AP-2 fuse panel. This relay will also work with the Centec AP-1.

When you turn on the ignition the relay activates the power circuit, which in turn provides power to the 3 switched sub-circuits of the AP-2 fuse panel.

When the ignition is turned off, the relay shuts down the switched circuits and all the accessories you've wired into that portion of the fuse panel.

The photo shows what appears to be a rather large wiring loom.  It's really designed for heavy duty automotive applications, but it can be easily cut to fit so you'll be able to eliminate most of the bulk and all the extra wiring.

The relay box itself is only 1" x 1" x 2", so it will easily fit under the tank or anywhere else on the bike.  The AP-130R is rated for 30 amps.

Note:  This relay is only rated for 30 amps, whereas your AP-1 or AP-2 fuse panel is rated for 50 amps.  For motorcycle applications it's exceedingly rare that your fuse panel will ever be passing more than 20 amps at any time.  The charging systems of most motorcycles just wouldn't produce enough "juice" to push that much current, and most riders would never have that many accessories running at any time.  So we only offer the AP-130R for motorcycle applications.  A heavier relay (the AP-170R) is available by special order, but it costs more.  Call us if you think you really need that heavier relay.  You probably don't, unless you're using the AP-2 fuse panel for automotive applications.
