The LightGuards now come with Quick-Release hardware! Now it's easy to clean both sides of the LightGuard and your stock headlight lens. Instead of 4 small screws (holding the Plexiglas shield to the brackets), the new system uses 4 posts with pins. Removal of the shield takes only seconds.

A single rock chip will cost you over $500 for a headlight lens replacement, plus the labor costs of installation.  You can make a small investment to protect that expensive headlight.  Our LightGuard prevents foreign debris damage and guards the lens with a "bulletproof" plexiglass shield.  

The 3/16" plexiglass shield protects the lens from impacts with sticks, stones, or other flying debris. Steel mounting brackets fit over your turn signal stalks. These heavy duty mounts have a small structural bend along the bottom edge, making them the strongest system on the market.

The plexiglass panel is held 1" from the headlight lens to maximize protection. Unlike thick plastic "stick-on" protectors or plexiglass panels held closely against the headlight with a piece of velcro, our LightGuard is engineered so that it absorbs impacts without transmitting energy (and damage) to the headlight lens. 

Installation takes only minutes and there's no modifications to your bike.

Since we first introduced the LightGuard in early 2004, we've updated the design by adding a removable rubber seal that fits across the top of the plexiglass shield. The seal prevents light from reflecting off the back of the shield and into the rider's line of sight. This greatly improves night time riding comfort. The seal does not interfere with the windshield or the headlight.
