BMW R1200GS Super Pillion Plate - For solo riders only, it replaces the stock luggage rack and provides a solid cargo platform for all your travel gear, fluid cells, Pelican case, or other items you want to mount behind the rider. It also provides a mounting platform for any of our BestRest BackRests.
The stock luggage rack must be removed for this application. Installation takes about 30 minutes. Reconfiguring back to the original setup takes about 10 minutes; you can quickly reinstall the passenger seat and stock luggage rack when you're going to have a riding companion.
The SPP-R is crafted from laser cut and precision formed aircraft aluminum. Mounting brackets are steel and they attach to the frame. At the front you will use your stock seat latch to lock the plate in place. Tie-down slots along the edges provide plenty of points for strapping your load securely.

Rectangular Version
This rectangular version works with Jesse Luggage Systems and Touratech panniers. Measurements: 14" wide and 20" overall length.

Tapered Version
This tapered version works with BMW System Cases, Jesse Luggage Systems, and Touratech panniers. The taper follows the graceful lines of the tailpiece of the R12GS. Measurements: 14" wide at the front, 9" wide at the rear, 20" overall length.
