Ride a BMW R1200GS or R1200GS Adventure? Tired of getting covered with road spray from the rear wheel? We were too, so we came up with an answer - SprayStopper.

 

The SprayStopper is one piece, rubberized inner fender liner that closes off the gaps on the underside of the bike, keeping road grime and muck from splattering onto your legs, your shock absorber, and the rear of the bike. No, it doesn't cure full throttle rooster tails, but it does keep all the swirling mist inside your fender well from coating your backside.

 

Cut from commercial grade textured neoprene sheeting, the SprayStopper looks like an OEM product, and for that reason it usually goes unnoticed... until you ride in the rain or mud. Then you'll immediately notice how much cleaner and drier your legs and backside stay.

Here's a photo showing the right side of the bike. Note how the SprayStopper closes off all the open areas, and protects your brake reservoir and shock absorber.

 

The SprayStopper fits the R12GS and Adventure models, and works with all pannier and exhaust systems.

So how well does it work? These next photos tell the story... They were taken on a recent ride to Prudhoe Bay Alaska. After 500 miles you can see the overall condition of the bike. Close-ups show how well the SprayStopper kept the road grime off the rear shock and the underside of the battery area.
