The "SOLO" ToolPlate is a replacement for the stock plastic tool lid and tray. Named for its solo, one-up riding function, the Solo gives you maximum usable cargo area because it's wider than the Dual version, and because it has handy tie-down slots along the sides and at the front so you can securely strap down your gear. It screws down at the rear and locks to the bike with the stock passenger seat latch.
To fit the Solo you'll need to remove the passenger seat. On those occasions when your passenger is aboard, simply remove the Solo and install the seat. The seat will hold the ToolPouch in place and prevent any tools from being lost.
The Solo won't work with a older Classic or Sprint BackRest, but it will work with the Classic2 and EZRest BackRest. These models bolts onto the top of the Solo, giving the rider comfortable back support for those long days in the saddle.
This ToolPouch pictured below, is included with all ToolPlates.
